City of Hektor
Born on the race track, living in the city. Hektor is the only track bike with Gates Belt Drive—engineered for race-grade performance while at the same time being suitable for daily use. The incredibly stiff frame as well as the specific geometry provides the most direct and agile riding experience of all Schindelhauer bikes. Hektor is available in two variants: fixed or freewheel with brakes.
Agile through the city
As a single-speed version with an everyday-friendly brake system and freewheel, Hektor is your fastest companion in the city. In the latest model generation, the internal routing of the brake cables is very inconspicuous and does not detract from the purist overall impression.
Exceptional riding characteristics
First presented in 2014 at the Berliner Fahrradschau, Hektor is characterised by an aggressive geometry, a typical track-bike width and the taller bottom bracket for maximum lean in corners (Crit-Lean). You feel the frame’s extraordinary stiffness with every crank revolution of the perfectly tuned belt drive.
